Children's Ministry at NorthCross Church is all about connecting our children to Jesus and walking alongside parents as they experience the journey of Gospel parenthood.

There are two priorities that picture how NorthCross Church takes its responsibility and privilege seriously:

  • We set learning about Jesus as the central aim of our ministry

  • We make caring for and discipling parents an ongoing priority

Below you will see how each of these play out in the life of our Children's Ministry:

Jesus is Central

We are dedicated to teaching our children about Jesus by emphasizing:

(1) Their worth as God intended

(2) God's love for them as displayed in the Bible

(3) What it looks like to live as a follower of Jesus (according to the Bible)

How We aim to do this:

  • First, within a safe and encouraging environment

  • Second, through weekly interactive lessons and activities on Sunday Morning that are engaging and educational

  • Finally, through family events that engage our children

Partnering with Parents

Part of the NorthCross Children's Ministry includes Partnering with Parents. This is simply the church's effort to walk alongside parents by supporting, assisting and encouraging them in how to incorporate the Gospel into everyday parenting situations.

We Partner with our Parents by:

1) Teaching Gospel Parenting Principles through Sunday school, blog posts and special seminars

2) Providing resources to parents that address various parenting topics

Here is our Resource List. Some of which can be checked out from the Office when available.

3) Creating avenues for our parents to enter into community with peers and others in later parenting stages. This includes Mom's Playdates over the summer, Women's Bible studies, Men's Events, Children's Ministry Events, Family Events and more...
